The M-TAC CUIRASS TIGER FAST ELITE PLATE CARRIER represents the next evolution in the M-TAC Plate Carrier line. It is designed to accommodate standard ESAPI (USA) Large armor plates (33.7 × 26 cm) with cut upper corners.
Its key feature is a two-piece cummerbund system. The lower section incorporates a UHMWPE (Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene) ballistic insert that complies with STANAG 2920 and provides a V50 fragmentation resistance of approximately 614.5 m/s.
The upper cummerbund is made from a combination of Tegris® thermoplastic composite and durable 500D Cordura®. Laser-cut openings form a MOLLE-compatible platform for attaching additional equipment.
The cummerbund and shoulder straps are equipped with Duraflex® quick-release buckles by National Molding. These lightweight, high-strength buckles provide fast donning and doffing while maintaining excellent load-bearing performance.
To secure the buckle, insert the cummerbund connector into the front receiver until it clicks into place. To release it, pull sharply upward or downward. The release mechanism functions identically on both sides of the plate carrier.
Constructed from durable 500D Cordura®, the plate carrier offers excellent resistance to abrasion and heavy use. The interior features 3D mesh padding to improve ventilation and wearer comfort, while the ergonomic shoulder straps naturally follow the body's contours for an improved fit.
The front panel includes a laser-cut Velcro® MOLLE platform for attaching pouches and identification patches. An admin pocket with a waterproof AquaGuard® zipper is located at the top, providing secure storage for documents, keys, a lighter, and other small essentials.
The lower front section features a quick-release placard with three integrated magazine pouches that securely retain magazines. Woojin carabiners provide additional retention by securing the placard to the carrier webbing.
Each magazine pouch is equipped with two perforated tabs that allow adjustment of the elastic retention cords to suit user preference. Elastic side loops provide convenient storage for chem lights, markers, and similar accessories.
The rear panel features a standard MOLLE interface and an evacuation handle secured in the stowed position with Velcro.
The M-TAC Cuirass Tiger FAST Elite Plate Carrier can be used in its standard configuration or expanded with additional protective modules to increase fragmentation coverage, creating a modern modular personal protection system.
