FAQ
Q: Can this face shield really stop handgun bullets? A: Yes. The Multi‑Hit visor’s ballistic lens is tested to stop 9 mm FMJ (124 gr) and .44 Magnum (240 gr) rounds at 1400 fps, providing full‑face ballistic protection. [oai_citation:30‡Gentex](https://shop.gentexcorp.com/ops-core-multi-hit-handgun-face-shield-lz2d/?srsltid=AfmBOoo95Yldb_VS4ev_doBhNDgkJPeTEfa1MMHhnYDoyxlapt93HjNN&utm_source=chatgpt.com)
Q: Isn’t the shield heavy or cumbersome? A: While the complete shield assembly weighs around 1338 g, its foldable mounting arms and pivot‑up storage make it manageable when not in use. It’s designed for high‑threat, high‑risk operations where protection outweighs weight.
