EVAP Technology™ Ventilation System

BODY ARMOR VENT I.C.E. | Keep Air Moving Behind Your Armor

BODY ARMOR VENT focuses on reducing the heat and moisture buildup experienced during extended wear of concealable armor and plate carriers. The I.C.E. system uses three-dimensional ventilation panels to create an airflow space between the wearer and protective equipment for greater year-round comfort.

Designed from Front-Line Experience

The idea for BODY ARMOR VENT came from a retired sheriff who was injured in the line of duty. During physical therapy, he identified heat and sweat buildup behind body armor as one of the worst parts of patrol work. That experience led to the development of I.C.E. and EVAP Technology™, supporting the brand mission to improve comfort, effectiveness, and safety for professionals wearing body armor.

How EVAP Technology™ Works

Proprietary foam-filled vertical channels work with horizontal vent holes to move air between the torso and armor. Rising body heat and the wearer’s breathing help drive this airflow, moving air over moisture to support evaporation. The brand states that the system helps users stay cooler in summer and drier and warmer in winter.

Vertical Air Channels

Vertical channels and horizontal vent holes help route heat and moisture away from the body.

Evaporative Airflow

More exposed surface area helps reduce moisture remaining trapped behind protective equipment.

Broad Compatibility

The Retro Fit Kit is designed to fit concealable armor and plate carriers.

Lightweight Installation

A hook-and-loop mounting system makes it easy to add panels to an existing armor setup.
